Add diced onions and let them sauté gently, seasoning with salt.Once the onions are translucent and fragrant, add the ground beef directly to the pan. Use a wooden spoon to break it down into small pieces. Season the meat with salt and cook all the way through.Lower the heat and pour in your favorite marinara sauce, stirring to combine. Let the sauce and beef simmer gently.In a separate pot, warm heavy cream over medium-low heat. As soon as it starts to lightly bubble, drop the heat and grate in plenty of Parmesan. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce turns smooth and glossy.Add the cooked spaghetti straight into the cheese sauce. Pour in a splash of pasta water and toss everything together.Transfer the creamy spaghetti into a baking dish, spreading it out into an even layer.
